MADE, the new Competence Center led by the Polytechnic of Milan, has just been launched with the ambition of being a national and international point of reference.
A point of reference especially for SMEs, according to the strategic objectives that many Italian and European regions have shown with their industrial programs, research and innovation activities in the context of Industry 4.0.
MADE’s medium-term objective is to reach over 10,000 people in three years throughout information and dissemination activities on the potential of digital technologies, deliver more than 86,000 man-hours training, develop more than 390 projects and 200 digital assessments involving about 15,000 Italian companies, of which 80% represented by SMEs, who will be contacted once the Competence Center is set up.
MADE will start in September 2019 and it gathers together not only Inail, University of Bergamo, Brescia and Pavia but also 39 partner companies.
Hyperlean is one of the partners and will be hosted by Polytechnic of Milan with an area dedicated to show how the latest digital technologies can support the manufacturing industry in the field of Product Cost Management.
